Did You See That Right?

As a leader, you have more responsibility. You have more duties, you have more weight.

It may not seem fair, but that's the burden of leadership. As such, you cannot only think about yourself.

When you are getting together a project, report, advertisement, or anything intended to be used by others, how are you looking at it?

The tendency is to frame it the way we as the leader would want to receive it or say it. But, is it intended for you or someone else? You have to know your audience before you start working and keep them in mind the entire time.

When you finish your product, do you send it off or look again? When you look again do you look from the same angle? I would challenge you to move, think like a user, and work hard to not keep the same narrative as you check your work.

This may require the opinions of others. If you can find people who would fit the description of who you are looking to serve great! Get more opinions and find more angles to check things in the future.

By doing this, you are putting others before yourself, laying down your pride, and opening your mind. You are becoming a better leader and creating a better world for everyone to experience.

This is good insight. I never really thought about it like that. But when you read the Bible, it helps to know who the audience is as to better understand the message. So, why wouldn’t it work in this life?Thank you.
