Let It Go

Just a quick note for leaders.

Choose your non-negotiables. What are the things you are determined need to happen to accomplish your mission? Both from you and your team. Those are the things you fight for. Those are the things you address.

You can’t pick everything out as a battle. If someone does a task different than you, don’t chastise them or try to coach them to the “right way” if it isn’t detrimental to the mission. Accept different ways to do things, accept it or you will drive yourself insane trying to create clones of yourself at all costs.
